Complete & partial dentures
Dentures replace missing teeth with a set you can take out to clean. Complete dentures replace all the teeth in your upper or lower jaw. Partial dentures fill gaps between your natural teeth.

Missing teeth can make it hard to chew, change the way you speak and make your face look sunken. Dentures help with all of these. Each set is custom-made to fit your mouth and shaded to suit your face.
Your gums and jawbone slowly change shape over the years, so even a well-made denture can start to feel loose. We repair cracked or broken dentures, and we reline them to restore a snug fit. Dentures can also snap onto dental implants for extra stability.
How it works
- 01
Exam and planning
We check your gums, any remaining teeth and your bite, then explain your options.
- 02
Impressions and measurements
We take impressions and record how your jaws meet, so the denture fits your mouth.
- 03
A try-in
You try a wax model of your new teeth, see the shape and shade, and tell us what you’d like changed.
- 04
Fitting
We place your new denture, check the fit and bite, and show you how to wear and clean it.
- 05
Adjustments
Sore spots are common at first. We’ll see you for follow-up visits to fine-tune the fit.
Afterwards
New dentures take time to get used to. Start with soft foods cut into small pieces, and chew on both sides at once. Reading aloud can help your speech settle. Take your dentures out at night to rest your gums, and keep them in water or a soaking solution so they don’t dry out. Clean them daily with a soft brush and a denture cleaner, not regular toothpaste, which can scratch them.
Questions people ask
How long does it take to get dentures?
It usually takes several visits over a few weeks. If teeth need to be removed first, we’ll talk about whether an immediate denture, placed the same day the teeth come out, is right for you.
Can you repair my broken denture?
Often, yes. Cracks, breaks and missing teeth can usually be fixed. Call us and bring the denture and any broken pieces. Please don’t glue it yourself, since household glue can damage it and irritate your mouth.
How often do dentures need a reline or replacement?
Your mouth keeps changing, so dentures need relining from time to time and replacing every several years. We check the fit at your regular visits and let you know when it’s time.
Will insurance cover dentures?
Coverage depends on your plan. We’ll give you a written estimate before treatment and can send a pre-determination to your insurer.
